“I just wanted to say that this book helped so much. We didn’t have it at my daughter’s first infusion. I just recently bought it and brought it with her to infusion this week and I had the child-life specialist read it to her as she got her IV. It helped her tremendously just seeing she was not alone…”

“I receive IV infusions for my chronic illness, and I bought this book to help explain my treatment to my kids. The lovely illustrations and gentle language beautifully introduce the infusion experience. As an adult, I found the book accurate and compassionate. My kids loved the story and feel they have a better understanding of what treatment days are like for me, especially as they are not allowed at the infusion clinic. Thank you for creating this beautiful and valuable resource for families!

“My son is receiving infusions to treat a chronic illness, so we bought this book to try to walk through the process with him and his brother. The illustrations are wonderful and the story great, walking through the whole process. There are a few things specific to the writers hospital (penguins on the walls, push car) that we used to compare what special things happen at our infusion center. This is definitely one of the best books I’ve seen to describe a very specific medical procedure to children with accurate and age appropriate info!”

Caroline’s story made us feel less a lone and part of a community. I’m very grateful Kelly shared her daughter’s journey in writing as it helped us and will help countless others. I highly recommend this wonderful book.”
